I'd like to meet:
How about a list of things I like.......I like in all people, the ability to assimilate information and use it daily, strong oppinions, INDIVIDUAL style, awareness, beauty (both mental and physical), lot's of interests, trivial knowledge, communication, acceptance, belief, logic, reason, primal instincts, cleanliness (more personal than home but don't live in a sty), brilliance, wisdom, openess, reliability, honesty, clearity or the desire to find it, paranoia, understanding, sensuality, hedonisim, a sense of the now, a sense of the future, an understanding of the past, white/black balance (as in good/evil, love/hate, etc....) and many other things. A lot of this denotes the woman most men wouldn't want to take home to mom. I would rather have them and I will take them home to mom.
In a woman.....A sexy deeper voice, unnatural hair colour, natual hair colour, hair, well placed tattoos and piercings, personal strength, will power, tenacity, style, grace, maners (but not all the time), pickieness, expectations, fingernails, hands, noses (button, roman, really any one other than super model) teeth (preferably all of them), the knowledge that you are more than a body. Knowing that you are a mind body and spirit and not to be objectified unless the time suits you.
In a man....Ummm this is a lot harder, but I am really stingy here. Physique, minimal body hair, minimal stank, forearms, and conversation are a start. Beyond that it is a free for all, who knows.
Basically I am up for a stong conversation with someone with thoughts that are their own and taste to go with it. I don't do one sided people too well, but those that can breach the gaps in society are right up my alley. Also find me someone who isn't afraid to have an actual conversation. One line contacts make me nuts. I like to actually get to know a person and you don't do that through little silly tidbits. Say something. Infact, I will respond to anything, so try it.

Music:
If you can name a style, I probably own a bit of it. Rap/Hip Hop and country are pretty low on the list, but almost anything else goes. Some faves are:(deep typing breath) Lamb, Coltrane, Sleepytime gorilla Museum, Tricky, Massive attack, Goldfrapp, That One Guy, Ani, Dave Mathews band before they were called DMB, select Franti, Fat Boy Slim, DJ Tiesto, early Lenny Kravitz, Marillion, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Laurie Anderson, Primus, Kinnie Starr, Hank III, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Beastie Boys, Violent Femms, Regina Spektor, Nina Simone, Portishead, Morecheeba, Groove Armada, Love and Rockets, Tool, Kronos Quartet, Bob Mould (black sheets and woorkbook time), Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Pre Blood Sugar Chilie Peppers Opera (almost any), Nine Inch Nails, Mike Doughty/Soul Coughing, PJ Harvey, Kreuder and Dorfmeister, Floater, Morphine, Dirty Three (thank my sister for forcing it down my throat), Janes Addiction, Lodrs Of Acid, Macy Gray, Mandalay, Mars Volta, Laibach, Throbbing Gristle, Martina Toply-Bird, Mr Bungle, Neko Case,Pink Martini, Pixies, Pogues, Prince, Sisters of Mercy, Soundgarden, Theivery Corperation, White Stripes, Bjork, Dead Can Dance, Drive By Truckers, Johnny Cash, and the sound of rain from my front porch.
Movies:
Anything but stupid humor. I don't generally do Jim Carrey or Mike Meyers kinds of films is what I am saying. I am also not too big on overblown hollywood love stories, but they get me once in a while.
Television:
Not really. That is why I have a DVD player and VCR and no cable. A few things once in a while or as a mind numbing drug, but not really interesting to me. I like my Netfix very much, but I won't pay for 9million channels of nothing.
Books:
Anything by Ayn Rand is great. I am also into non-fiction lately. Not the Biography kind, the philosophy kind. Anything that gets my mind going. Neil Gaimen is a wonderfull escape too. I have also enjoyed, on a surface level, most of the Dan Brown (DaVinci Code author) books. I used to read a lot of fantasy, I still read almost anything that comes in my path. Reading is a cheap way to get information and perspective. Currently I do not feel like typing much more than this tiny bit....maybe soon
