The Phage

a letter to our judge, jury and executionerthe phage is a little experiment that started after many months of sitting and smelling incense in the living room of drummer, Bryan Lipps Norcross rental. A musical groove was soon discovered between Bryan and guitarist, Ben Landrum. The two self-instructed musicians began playing together some seven years ago, combining Bryans well-tuned ear (a product of earning his degree in sound engineering) and Bens complicated arrangements and technical style of playing.Some years later, the two met Mike Issa and Dustin Allen through Bens stint in food service engineering. Mike put lyrics to the arrangements that Ben and Bryan were working on, and Dustin contributed a bass groove.These guys dont bring drugs, drama or demands. They are all business and consider entertaining an audience fun, serious business. the phage shows up on time, with equipment tuned and ready to play. They have graciously filled in without pay for last minute cancellations at Masquerade and Breakers as well as putting in high energy, scheduled performances at these venues in addition to Nine Lives Saloon (may it rest in peace) and private performances.
