I haven't figured this one out, but I know it right away when I meet people if we'll be down.
Mostly foreign music... a lot of Brazilian music (Axe, MPB, rock brasileiro, etc.), House/trance, R&B, I'm really into Usher right now... but I go through quick fazes, etc.
Don't really watch movies too much either, I feel like my life is passing and I'm wasting time. But there are a few that stand out. My favorite is The Talented Mr. Ripley. Love Y Tu Mama Tambien, Garden State, The Boiler Room, Clockwork Orange, the Exorcist (not the new one, please don't waste minutes of your life on this one), Half Baked (watched endlessly in college). DON'T LAUGH: Jurassic Park I. About a Boy, Cidade de Deus...
No.... now I have to edit this because after living alone for so long, now my roommates have FORCED me to show up at home on Tuesday "TV Night", so I had my veins tweaked into Nip and Tuck, honestly entertaining :)
Non-fiction, usually only commit to political books, usually anti-bush books, but been trying to stay away from the negativity
Don't idolize anyone, I admire a lot of people. I admire several of my friends who have grown up in difficult families and have persevered. I'm not talking about "disfunctional families" either, because mine definately classifies as this, but I was taken care of and most of all I was and am loved, without exception, but others were not as fortunate. Those who can use this to become stronger than would otherwise; THAT's admirable.
