GOODBYE & THANK YOU!

i was a house in west philly. i had seven residents: rachelle, brandon, lauren, mike, kim, colin, and benn. i hosted shows, talks, craft nights, hide and go seek, and various other good times. i existed as a positive environment for music, ideas, discussion, and friends.

the residents of the veggieplex moved out on June 15th, 2007. Benn, Rachelle, Colin, Kim, and Mike are living five blocks away in a new house. Brandon has moved to South Philadelphia and Lauren is living at Clap It Off! just two blocks away.

there is a website for the shows that occurred here and others that benn roe books. mike also continues to book shows and most are posted in bulletin form from this account.

ATTENTION BANDS: Please do not contact us about shows. We do not live here anymore. The new residents of the house are planning on doing shows and I will post their contact info if they decide they want to make it available.

To everyone else: Thanks for helping to make the veggieplex what it is. We will gladly offer any advice and assistance to those who are looking to create a similar sort of space for shows, art, friends and positivity. The reasons for us moving out were not negative in any sense - most of us are simply living in a new house which we are very excited about! (But we will not be doing "shows" per se in this new house)
