About Me

I can be very silly sometimes. I like to climb trees and laugh. I like to surround myself with funny, smart, and passionate people. I am a nerd. I dream of being intriguing. I can't spell. I wish I could fly. I try to look on the bright side of life. I'm a bit obsessive. I keep a notebook of the people and things that I observe. If there is water around, I will be in it, be it a puddle, a lake, or a fountain. The world needs healing. I want to help.

My Interests

Theatre, music, reading, cheerleading (I'm not joking, guys. really), friends, kissing, knitting, dance, political theory, costumes, the outdoors, research, pondering, knowledge, laughter.

Music:

If music existed as a single entity, I would worship it.

Movies:

Sometimes when I watch movies, I feel guilty because I have then missed approximately 2 hours of life.So if I'm going to watch it, it better be good.

Television:

The same goes for television: Daria, Family Guy, The Simpsons, South Park, The Daily Show, The History Channel.

Books:

Reading saved my life as a child. I read voraciously. My favorite books are as follows: The Little Prince, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Walking on Water, Les Miserables, The Outsiders, The Crucible, or anything by Shakespeare. Also, Chuck Klosterman is amazing. Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs echoed many of my ponderings, and Killing Yourself to Live made me more even more obsessed with music and love.

Heroes:

Einstein, Rachel Malinen, Ben Gibbard, Sean Nelson, anyone who travels, people who understand... and alpacas. they are so underrated.

Knowledge Unposessable

She will never know that kind of love.  She will never know what it is like to see a part of her grow, to hold it protectively to her breast, to feel joy at a little boy running through the yard....
