I'd be more apathetic if I weren't so lethargic...

About Me

People Envy Your Compassion
You have a kind heart and an unusual empathy for all living creatures. You tend to absorb others' happiness and pain.
People envy your compassion, and more importantly, the connections it helps you build. And compassionate as you are, you feel for them. What Do People Envy About You?

You are The Hermit

Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.

The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration, hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.

The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.

The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

You want insight into my brain? Have any desire to know how or why I think or act the way I do? Do you REALLY want to know what I think (no politically correct, media biased, socially acceptable crap)? Then by all means, read my bloggs. Read at your own risk (you may very well be offended)...

My Interests

Pretty much all things creative. Like music, writing, leather crafting, story telling, and designing stuff. I still enjoy playing a good video game. I do still like to party (in a comfortable atmosphere). I enjoy talking/chatting with people of all types (as long as they're civil and not a raging A**hole). I like talking a lot too. I find other people's opinions facinating most of the time. I like talking about everything from political scandal and the latest LSU game, to whatever random topic happens to come up. I also enjoy listening to most people's life stories too (kinda wierd, huh?) It goes without saying that I do however, have a few interests that I'd rather not mention publicly (nothing horrid or perverse I can assure you). And I'm sure there's lots of things I'd be interested in, I just haven't tried them yet.

I'd like to meet:

Open-minded people with something interesting to say.
You scored as Gambit. Gambit is another loner character. He loves Rogue. He has a very cool deboner personality. He's done things in his past that he's not proud of but he atones for his actions by fighting for peace with the X-Men. His weapon of choice is the playing card. Powers: Charges objects with kinetic energy by touching them, then they explode like grenades.

Music:

I try to be open minded with my music, but some kinds I just don't really like. I'll listen to anything, all the way through, at least once. I am however, a big fan of just about anything with the word "rock" associated with it (excluding what is widely considered 'soft rock'). Some rap cool, but some of it I just can't relate to. I wasn't raised in the ghetto, so I don't try to act like I did, or try and know exactly what they're talking about. I still like some of the older Ska/punk bands from the 90's. Some of this indie stuff is cool and all, but I only find it good in samll doses. I don't really like most Emo tunes, however there are some still worth listening to. I like a few country songs, despite myself (I used to despise country music above all else). I even like the very occasional classical tune. Techno (I mean TRUE techno, not this clubber crap) is still a fav in my book, even though I don't listen to it as much as I used to.

Movies:

I like a lot of movies, I just don't watch them really often. I think the last good movie I saw was "Batman Begins". I mostly like comedies, to tell you the truth. Action, drama, horror, sci-fi all have a special place though. I really dig the movies that are done so well, and that are so moving, that you leave the theater a different person. That's a rarity, and it's only happened twice so far to me. It was "American Beauty" and "The Butterfly Effect" that made me actually stop and think about how things are in the world. (You may think that's bad, but I know people who were "spiritually moved" by "The Matrix".) Just like music, I'll try and give every movie a shot.

Television:

Kinda selective on this one. I mostly think TV is a vast sea of crap. I mostly watch [adult swim] on cartoon network late at night (I still think some of it is too mindless for even stoners to enjoy... Not that I would know anything about being a stoner... I, um, er... Anyway...). I also like Southpark, Law and Order, CSI, The 4400, That 70's Show, Mythbusters (What?! I think it's cool when they blow shit up! So what?!), and I thought Kung Faux or Final Foo or what ever the hell the name of it was, was kinda cool (they just needed to let them beat each other in the head). I used to watch the news before work every morning, but I don't think I can stand too much more of the political crap that's goin on right now. I'm just tired of hearin about it.

Books:

I can get into most fantasy novels, but I don't typically have enough peace during the course of a day to sit and read. I read spiritually geared books(not to be confused with religious material) every once and a while for fun, or if I need to reference something. I don't like most non-fiction though... Not sure why...

Heroes:

For one thing, there aren't many heroes anymore. I'd have to say my Dad is my hero. He has never given up fighting the good fight, and neither will I. Thanks dad...

My Blog

Poem + Blogg = Pogg (Secrets, The Evil Eye, and Simple Things)

Since everyone else and their sister has to sit down and write Poggs (Poem +Blogg=Pogg), I suppose I should jump on the ol bandwagon too, eh? Please don't hate me too much...  This is very long, ...
