About Me

Alot of things are about me! I enjoy wandering around everywhere, particularly the beach at 2/3 in the morning. Before that there's too many people, and after that it starts warming up. I call myself a writer, as I enjoy writing (and sometimes even drawing) works of art. If you wish to read anything of mine, just ask. I am an idealist rather than a pragmatist, and nought could cause me to think practically over creatively. Add my msn if you'd really like: [email protected] I enjoy philosophical and political discussions, but only with fellow open-minded people. If you're a blunt, narrow-minded Neo-Nazi skinhead, overly conservative, racist, or would rather take your advice from the infotainment on the tv and in the paper than think for yourself, please don't speak to me. If you are not, then I'd love to hear from you!Save The World - One Click At A Time!

My Interests

Music, both listening and playing (on mainly piano and guitar, with some trombone thrown in), reading, writing, hanging around with friends, enjoying myself in any way possible. Oh and coffee. Don't leave out the coffee. *eye twitch*

I'd like to meet:

DEAD PEOPLE! Not all dead people. Just a few like Shakespeare, Poe and Chopin. Oh, but I am forgetting! Who could I desire to meet more than the one wonderful Siouxsie herself! And Manson............ *drooooolinggggggggggg* oh....yeah....

Music:

I love most kinds of music. From African tribal beats to punk to black metal to powernoise, jazz, classical, reggae, trance, grunge, shoegazing, and, most importantly, dark wave. And, of course, everything in between. However, I thrive on obscure bands and people, who haven't had the opportunity to sell out and still try to be original.
I made you a list, if you can really be bothered, which I doubt.

Movies:

The City of Lost Children!! All time favourite. Also Delicatessen, Amelie, Resident Evils, Underworlds, Forbidden Planet, Tous Le Matins du Monde, V for Vendetta (voraciously vengeful) and lots more.

Television:

The TV is not for me. I prefer watching something without being interrupted every few minutes to be told about things I have no interest in. However, I do have a special, SPECIAL spot for Black Books.

Books:

Poe, master of horror, Isobelle Carmody, mystical and inspiring, Arthur C. Clarke, scientifically and creatively intriguing, Stephen Baxter, bringing fabulous plots accompanied by equally exciting characters, Cecilia Dart-Thornton's 'Bitterbynde Trilogy', Voltaire, Nietzche, and of course C.S. Lewis, forever in my heart.

Heroes:

Icarus! However, I don't think my life shall lead far from his example. Also Bernard Black, yet the same applies to him. Tom Waits is a bit of a hero for me too, but not much of a role model. Oh, and I almost forgot! OSCAR THE GROUCH! He's got EVERYTHING in that can. Good ol' oscar. I used to have a cat called Oscar! Then he got old and we moved to Melbourne but couldn't bring him with us. *tear* tragic event.

Nothing is sacred

I have had a revelation. What we call our minds, that central power that governs all the body via a dictatorship, is fragile as a spider's web. If the skull is punctured, then our personalities, our s...
