yea, about the logical intelligence- figures hu?
I am generally into Travel, Dancing, Hiking, Complexity Theory, Books, Kayaking, Learning about Other Cultures, Language, Movies, Education, The Peace Corps, Social Justice, Chocolate, trying to become more enlightened and competent, learning about parenting,
learning about balancing my schedule, trying to learn from my past- fix old mistakes and make less new ones, and trying to slow down in order to enjoy my very blessed life and family.
Picasso, Samuel Clemens, Nelson Mandela, Joan of Arc, Bill Waterson, Dave Barry, great thinkers! Or maybe just nice, level headed people who think.
Most of all I'd like to be able to spend more time with the amazing people in my life already so to build our relationships and really take the time to get to know them.
Jazz, Blues, Classical, Country, Rock, Musicals- a little bit of everything except electric Jazz.
I especially love anything you can dance to.
The Princess Bride, Coming to America, Leathal Weapon, Moulin Rouge, The Professional, Sliding Doors, Chocolat, The Godfather (not II and III), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Amelie, The Incredibles, Suburbia, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, 50 First Dates, Gold Rush, The Kid, V for Vendetta
most Buster Keaton, Casablanca, Hero, Crash... I like movies that have interesting concepts, that inspire me to think and feel, and, well, cheesy romantic comedies.
Gilmore Girls, Friends, Monk, Lost (yes, I'll admit it- the DVDs are pretty darn good), The Benny Hill Show... mmm, books- remember books? books are good.
Stories of Guy de Maupassant, Pale Fire, anything Twain, anything C.S. Lewis, apparently anything Jared Diamond, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Utopia, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, essays of George Sand, anything Shakespeare... and for some reason I enjoy reading philosophy that is completely over my head.
Nelson Mandela, Jackie Robinson, James Joyce, C.S. Lewis, Albert Erdynast, Aurore Dupin/George Sand, Walt Witman, and Jimmy Carter. People who stand up for truth and what they believe in, aren't afraid to feel or to try even if they make mistakes, fight opression and are pro-active members of society.
