I've learned that you must keep looking forward, and only look back to learn from your mistakes and decisions. Sometimes you have to let go of something or someone that my slow you down from where you trying to go. Keep the positive people around, those that push you to be a better person and support you. Its so hard to trust these days, but it all must start somewhere. There are some people who you will meet, and they are just another friend who will come and go BUT every so often you can meet someone that you know is special and a person you want to hold on to or keep in touch with. Those people are hard to find. Those are the people who will be there when you need someone to lean on, to talk to, confide in, TRUST. When you fall, get up!! Getting up is what defines a person and makes them strong. At this point.....I don't know why I'm writing this...but its real.Military Brat and now in the military myself. Half Black/Half Asian mix(brown sugar). Keep my family and friends close. Am always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and strangers. I have broken hearts but also have had mine broken...what can you do, live and learn.
What I know....
Never forget who you are and where you come from. Cherish the good times spent with friends and family..you'll never get that time back. We have to grow up sometime. Man up!! Home is where the heart is.
