About Me

Well, it took me a while to realize this, and then it took me another while to accept it, but "40 is Fabulous!" OK, well, maybe it's not super-deluxe Fabulous, but it's not so bad. I have everything I could possibly want or need - 2 beautiful little boys - who are both my greatest joy and my greatest challenge-, a great husband (also a great joy and a great challenge), a close family, and friends who make me laugh out loud every day. I am blessed, if a little "messed." And I LOVE it! Oh yeah, and I do look FAB in a "fruit salad" hat - it so enhances my curls.

Any type of music is just fine with me - oh, except Country & Western - not a fan.I love Jimmy Buffett, Billy Joel, Andrea Bocelli, Paco deLucia, Broadway music, No Doubt, Zydeco - pretty eclectic, huh? Oh, and I love the Wiggles. (Notice the pattern yet)?

Movies:

Quentin rules!Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 1 & 2, are the top 3.Also in the top 10, without a doubt, are:The Shawshank Redemption,Ocean's 11Oh Brother, Where Art Thou

Television:

I am newly hooked, but all caught up, on Grey's Anatomy! FAB!!Prison Break is pretty cool, and I also like House.And Desperate Housewives never fails to crack me up!Hey - the Wiggles have a TV show too!When in doubt, I flip on over to Food Network, where I can usually get lost for several hours.

Books:

I will read and have read almost anything. I love Anne Rice, Nelson DeMille, Rebecca Wells, and Dan Brown. I also am quite taken with young Harry Potter and friends. Fiction is fun; non-fiction is great too. And I have over 100 cookbooks that I read just for fun.

Heroes:

My #1 Hero is my FABULOUS husband! He loves me and loves our boys, and we love him. He works so hard every day "to protect and to serve," and so believes in his values. I know he does his part to keep our little part of the world a little safer.
