I write to reduce my complicated situations. I write so that I can remain free, And it is how I find resolutions. I write because there is rhythm and sound in my head that just wants to emerge. I jot down letters that form into words, Then into sentences so that the rhythm in my head will have lyrics to flow with the sounds, as written on a piece of paper... 'Healing my wounded mind like aspirin in my mouth ingested with water'. I write to remain calm. I write to find answers in a world that is filled with Poverty, Violence, Prejudices, and Racism. I write to find peace with self. I write 'cause the foundation of the voice is in the word. I write so that I can be heard. I write because God loves me. Writing is the name of my Therapist.
