I'd like to meet:

I had the good fortune to meet James Hand and his band: Rusty Trap, Speedy Sparks, Will Indian and manager Rick Henson this weekend (9/5/06). They are cooler than cool. They are so incredibly talented and were all so very nice. We were sure blessed to be in New London to see them play and meet them all. Mr. James Hand = Texas, that's all there is to it. From now on I just want to meet people from Texas. And people that should be from Texas.

Music:

Everything Dale Watson does, he's a genius; Mr. Mel (The Velvet Voice of Fog) Torment; Don Walser, Pavoratti of the plains whose music takes me to Texas and whose voice brings me to tears: anything by George Jones, Merle, Johnny, Billy Joe, Hank I, Lefty, James Hand, Marty Robbins, Ken Atkins, Dwight, Kelly Willis, Joe Ely, Jimmy Dale...the list goes on and on...and I love Redd Volkaert, Damn It! and also every one of these cool musician friends. Sunny Sweeney rocks!
