About Me

Hello, I'm Sonia. As Gracie would say I'm a bit "on the odder side of life." I love poetic souls, bookish people, and green tea, which I must drink almost every day in order to function as a normal individual. I value honesty; I will always respect you for telling me the truth. To my face, I might add. Above all, I value intelligent and genuine people. If you appeal to my odd sense of humor, that's a plus. I'm not very good-looking (here's where all shallow freaks and other "predators" leave my page), but I don't find physical appearance very important. But then again, I must admit...I'm a slight sucker for red hair and gorgeous eyes. I'm a Myers-Brigg infj type if that means anything to you. myers-brigg= personality "test." Oh, and how could I forget the arts? Reading defines my existence. I have a habit of singing along to songs..i love to sing even though I'm not exactly Broadway material because I naturally feel immersed into music. I dance too...if 1) I'm with Gracie 2) I'm really comfortable around you or 3) I'm in the mood aka. i'm hyper/there's good music going. Here are some (among the many) visual artists I admire: Salvador Dali, Leonardo Da Vinci, Dale Chihuly, Frank Gehry, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema, M.C. Escher, John Singer Sargent, Alphonse Mucha, Howard Schatz, Naum Gabo, Rembrandt, Gerhard Richter, Barbara Morgan, Edward Degas. I must admit my ignorance and memory prevent me from listing any more. Here are some other things I love: Lemon soap, (unexpectedly) witty comments, the earthy chlorine smell of artificial-ized water, spirographs, accents of any kind, Freudian slips, cutely ugly laughs, being twirled in the air, punchy saturated color, sarcasm (in the right moments), interesting words, my blue bathrobe, randomness, tulle, and oxymorons. All in all, "every generalization is dangerous, especially this one." Mark TwainHOT Myspace Layouts

My Interests

I don't watch much television. It has a horrible way of making me feel terrifically lazy and vegetable-like. Back when I enjoyed full cable packages, I loved random home decorating/ craft shows. I love watching ice skating, ball room dancing, and Project Runway.

Books:

Too many to count. but mostly children's books. They're freer (is that even a word?). I have a horrible Peter Pan complex. Things with wit, whimsy, and pretty pictures will do.
