“I know everyone says that but what does your "real" story consist of? selling drugs and making money? if thats the only catch to your story then your music is boring, my story goes beyond that. I can say 98% of the whole music industry havent experienced what I been through so I bring a unique story to the table. Everything I rap about is what I lived through or what I'm living and anyone that knows me will vouch for that. I think that’s essential to a career with longevity because if you have fans that actually follow you and look up to you, you’d be misleading them if you're not who you portray yourself to be because most artist are not†Living a life that is full of responsibilities, Tommy has much on his mind. After two uncles, a best friend and both his parents passed away in the last year, his siblings have become his liability and taking care of them has become a priority in his life. With music as a means of expression, he allows his lifetime experiences, pains, fears and goals to be reflected in his lyrics. He’s as real as it can get and he is working hard to show and prove.Influenced by an array of artists including the likes of Jay-Z, Fabolous, and Lil’ Wayne, Tommy’s personal style is emblematic. His flow is consistent with his passion for the music, his punchlines are very witty and clever, and he displays his confidence fluently which is an up-close and personal mirror reflection of himself. As a performer, Tommy Knox becomes one with the audience, conquering both; the stage and his fans. He was currently on tour with Canadian Legend Choclair and has shared stages with hip-hop greats such as Pharell Williams, Chamillionaire, Jadakiss, The Clipse, and Olivia, to mention a few. Tearing down the clubs, Tommy has performed in venues all across Ontario, stretching over to his fans south of the border in events like the Hot97 Block Party and the Streets Mos Conference, both in Harlem, New York. His single “Like These†burst the airwaves for months, maintaining the 5 spot in the Canadian DJ Pool charts. His most recent single is titled “No Parkin’†ft. Mr. Muzz and it’s on rotation on radio stations all across the country.In 2006 Tommy released his first mixtape “Stars in the Making,†which is available all across Ontario in urban and mom & pop stores. After departing from Keez to the City/Universal, Tommy decided to start his own company "Bild-A-Berg Entertainment" Currently, He is writting, producing and directing his own mini movie included with a soundtrack titled "Lay Ur Cake" which is also the title of his first single from the soundtrack featuring Swizz Beatz artist Cassidy and is hotsed by Cassidy's DJ Thoro. The soundtrack also features collaborations with Cassidy, Larsiny Family, Paul Wall, OB and more, and will be released shortly.Tommy Knox is an artist with incredible talent and a bright future ahead.
