About Me

My name's Chris! I'm a Leo- grrrrr. My entire life is wrapped up in my perfectly amazing, incredibly brilliant, and oh-so-beautiful husband Marlin. Born and raised in the foot-hills of West Virginia. Since there seems to be some confusion among my Canadian buddies surrounding my place of origin: West Virginia IS, in fact, a state; and NO it is NOT part of Virginia. Just wanted to put that out there. I'm usually an extraverted person, however, that's subject to change without notice, as is most everything else about my personality! My mood changes more frequently than a fifty-four year old woman going through menopause. I tend to bust out into Shirley Q. Liquor, Betty Butterfield, or Madea monologues at the drop of a hat. So be cautious! The sheer humor caused by such spontaneous actions is quite contagious. I can’t be held responsible for damages incurred. I tend to have a new obsession every other week. I find that it keeps me interesting :-) Professionally: I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist and will soon be finishing up my nursing degree. I'm uber unimpressed with people who are embarrassed too easily and I absolutely abhor monotony. I'm also very unimpressed with temporary people- you know, the kind who are only around when it's convenient for them. I HEART spending time with my very best friend Whitney (Watusi). I’m so incredibly blessed to have such a REAL friend like her in my life; a friend who loves me for me. A TRUE friend who doesn't insist upon reforming me to fit a certain set of unachievable standards. Even though 3,000 miles may separate us we'll always be "Shirley & Watusi!"
