About Me

Takuma Kanaiwa moves freely within acoustic, electric and electronic sound.As musician, producer and label owner, Kanaiwa collaborates with a range of musicians. He has worked with reggae legend Glen Brown. From the New York free improv scene Kaniawa has teamed up with On Davis, Tomchess and Daniel Carter. Kanaiwa also joins forces with underground hip-hop MC's iPL, Ovathro and Kinetic NRG. Interest in both conceptual art and sound, have led Kanaiwa to work with visual artists such as Gunther Uecker and On Kawara.
