Making mix CDs of obscure indie rock, seeing movies at the Naro, taking walks that are too long, buying too many CDs at Relative Theory Records, playing movies of questionable merit at the Naro Expanded Video, convincing friends and strangers to give a damn about all things social and political, and writing music reviews of obscure indie bands for my website... For the most part, I spend a lot of time flippng between MSNBC and CNN, trying to find relevant news. I usually wait for good TV shows to come out on DVD, and then I still don't find the time to watch them. But I have, in fact, seen, loved and purchased the DVDs of Coupling, Project Greenlight, Arrested Development, and some other more debatably embarrasing TV shows.
The Catcher in the Rye, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Slaughterhouse Five, A Culture of Fear, The Three Uses of the Knife, Johnny Got His Gun, and what I've read thus far of On the Road. Someone tell me to finish reading that!
