Flight Path

About Me

FLICKER EP NOW AVAILABLE
---------------------------------
This 4 song debut EP from Flight Path displays swirling crashes and harrowing dynamics, tight throbbing bass licks in sync with deafening, constantly driving drums, with two distinctly different guitarists tearing through the speaker fabric, abound in maturity and unison. All the while sounding like nothing before it.
Beware: if you get off on being spoon fed music by Top 40 radio stations Flight Path may not be for you. Songs tend to sound difficult in parts on first play but the rewards are inspiring for each successive listen.
What the album lacks in vocals (yes, there are no vocals!) is made up for with intense, soulful guitars (Michael Wright and Adam Garlick) lapping over and up against the rhythmic backdrop created by bass (Hadley Spence) and drums (Ben Josephson).
The four songs are all incredibly different and constantly shape shifting and, like a good dream, feel longer than they actually are.
A lovely progressive, instrumental piece of audible art.
