Someone told me I don't have enough about myself on my page. I've been meaning to write something out, but it's kind of hard. I can't describe myself because I'm everywhere at once. I'm full of contradictions. Nothing is black and white, ever, which is a contradiction in and of itself. I can say that I'm a passionate person, but at the same time I have such apathy during the daily grind. I consider myself intellectual but most of the time I prefer to turn my brain off and relax. I'm waiting for something to come along and make me look forward to the next day. I need something for which it's worth getting out of bed every morning. Sometimes I feel like my life peaked in high school and it's all downhill from here, but that can't be right, and if it is, I need to work against it rather than accepting it. Enough melodrama, here's some facts. I'm in my third year of college at Cal State Northridge. Pretty unsatisfied, though I do like the campus. I plan to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and commute from home. Hopefully that will be an improvement. I'm studying English and plan to be a teacher. I can't say for sure that's the right choice, but it seems to make the most sense to me at the moment. I work at Catalina Coffee Company and I love it. I spend my free time doing as little as possible and yet I still feel like I'm always busy. World of Warcraft consumes me. I love my dog more than anything. You have no idea. My family is the coolest, and I hang out with them as friends. My friends are all in their own worlds but we try to stay connected. My favorite band is AFI and I'd do nearly everything for them; I'm heavily involved in the fan community, though not as much as I used to be. I love to cook and watch the Food network. I love animals. I love LA, even though it is dirty and scary sometimes. One of my favorite things to do is chat over coffee in an adorable independant coffee house. I also love to just be near the ocean. Sometimes I will sit in my car by the beach and do absolutely nothing but stare and listen. There are a lot of things that bother me, and I have a lot of strong opinions, but I try my best to keep them to myself because I think there is a time and place for everything, and it's best not to talk about certain things in conversation. Alright, I'm tired of typing. If there's anything else you'd like to know, just ask.
