About Me

My name is Christen Aka. Sissy, Chrissy, Redly, Red, Rosie, Chris etc etc. I am 26 years old and happily married. My husband and I just celebrated our first anniversary. I married a wonderful man in emergency services named Mac. He just made Fire Chief and we're all proud of him. We live in Greenville in a beautiful little home. We have two doggie children. Toby who is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the cutest little man. We also have our new addition Nitro Destroyer of Worlds. We have been training him to do Schutzhund work and he's doing very well.
I work as an emergency service dispatcher. I've been dispatching for 6 years and love it. I have an older brother Jon and younger sister Missy. Two beautiful nieces, Autumn and Taylor and one nephew named Ethan. I love them all very dearly. I love reading, especially Stephen King novels and I hope to one day become a writer. I have been playing piano since I was twelve years old. I love all kinds of movies, especially horror movies. I'm originally from Wilmington, North Carolina where a lot of my family still lives. We love to travel, our favorite place is Charlie Town. We just love going to Tommy Condons and having lunch on the patio. Life is what you make of it. If I could change one thing about myself it's that I'm not forgiving enough. I love to laugh and think my eyes are my best feature. I love photography and taking pictures of those people I love most dearly. If I could learn how to do anything I would learn to speak another language possibly Japanese. I love my friends and cherish life.

My Interests

I love reading, watching movies and spending time with my new husband. I just love married life and have never been happier.

We always make time to spoil our babies Tobyman and Nitro. We're also doing our best at trying to travel the world. We love Charlie Town and miss Aruba.

I love photography and taking pictures of those I love. Salvador Dali is my favorite artist. So genius! Stephen King is my all time favorite writer.

I'd like to meet:

I would have liked to meet my grandmother. She died before I was born.

I would also love to meet of course Stephen King. It would be awesome to climb inside his mind for a litte while..and a bit scary!

Music:

I listen to and love all types of music, from classical to rock. Skynyrd Skynyrd Skynyrd...I love Skynyrd. Miranda Lambert Rocks as well. I also love the Vietnam era of music.

Movies:

Movies are one of my great passions. I love Kill Bill!! So awesome! I will watch just about anything but I love horror movies. I think it's so much fun being scared.

The greatest movies of all time would have to be of course the Godfather series,Kill Bill, The Last Unicorn, Labryinth, Pulp Fiction and the Goonies among others.

Television:

My favorite show is ROME on HBO and I love the show Kung Fu.
I am not too fond of reality television. If I'm up late and in a crazy mood I love watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force on Cartoon Network. 20 cents off your next Wasabi Fry..Just rip it and win!!

Books:

My favorite author is Stephen King. I love reading his books, I just can't put them down. The Dark Tower series was amazing. I read most all kinds of books. I love reading about history and travel. My favorite history subjects are Vietnam and the Holocaust.

Heroes:

My heroes are the people who fight for this country. We would not have the freedoms we have and enjoy all of our blessings if not for them. My heart goes out to the families without their loved ones. I think this country should honor soldiers and Vets so much more than we do. They deserve the best of everything we have to give. The everyday heroes, Firefighters, Police and EMS should be appreciated more for the security they give our everyday life. Our country would fall apart without them. Have you thanked one of them today?
