C.U.G. which stands for Cutthroat Untamed Gorillaz, was started in 2004 and consists of 4 members. These Dallas, Texas natives came together to form a rap group to give today's hip-hop scene what it has been missing. This group of young entrepreneurs have spent up to 9 years studying and perfecting their craft in musicianship. Each member of C.U.G. comes together w/ their own life experiences and knowledge to nourish each others talent. Being as determined as they are and collectively dropping hot songs with catchy
hooks, you could make an argumernt to say they're Dallas' own Hotboys. From the studio to live shows, they're proving they can get "Tha Dirty D" wired up with songs like "Get Ya Cash Up" and "See My Gangsta". Now meet tha click: D.C. "Tha Street Boss" brings his laid-back, but aggresive, style straight from the streets. He's serious about his money and he will let you know it. He's been doing mixtapes and polishing his artistry
since his player years in high school. And with his mind on paper,
D.C. is now telling haters to "See My Gangsta". Tony Dubb "Tha Soufwest Mayor" is banging on the door of the rap scene with true southern lyrical skills. With Tony D's style, he will announce his presence and demand your attention everytime. He's been writing rhymes and recording for over 10 years, and is a ticking time bomb with a short fuse. Lil Grippa "Tha Mista Mista" is the musical inspiration behind the movement. He makes the trunk-thumping beats and he can compete with some of the elite with his rhyming skills. Grip has also had (2) two years of training in Audio Engineering. Thus, making him a triple-threat.L.I.L. "Tha 007 of da G.L.O.C.K." comes into the industry with major personality. Being a student of the game for many years, L.I.L. is sneaking up to be a lethal contender in making those "country rap tunes".
