It's a great day to be alive

About Me

Born and raised in the country, just moved back. I am one that likes to travel and meet new people but I also enjoy time alone in the woods of WV. Of all the places I have lived and visited good old West V tops them all. n Right now I am traveling for a few months with a good friend of mine.I like to spend alot of time walking in the woods, fields, anywhere even. i was in Edinburgh and enjoyed simply walking the roads and looking at all the people, places, things. I admit the country life is more my style in that I love to spend time alone on my farm hiking, working (yes splitting wood is fun to me) relaxing. Spending good time with my friends is always great too.I am back from my travels that took me around this globe. I met great people, saw incredible things and learned countless lessons. Now I am ready to get settled in WV and take the next steps in my Life. Stil working on figuring out what those are. I am very fortunate to have been able to do the things that I have and only look forward to what comes next while simply enjoying the day that is.

My Interests

Hiking, Biking, Camping, travelling, basketball, reading, working, living the good life with good people all around. The time of day when it is turning to night. The world

I'd like to meet:

New people that have good things to say. If you can tell a good story I would like to listen. Anyone that is interested in life.

Music:

ABout anything. Favorite new band is Enter the Haggis. Love some Phish, G. Dead, Tom Petty and Bob. Marley that is. Anything really i will try to listen to at least once. Locals I like include The Rust Kings, Vern's Pot of Chile and from Asheville Toubab Krew.

Movies:

Do not watch too much on the screen. IN my room I have Princess Bride, Last of the Mohicans, BOb Marley (making catch a fire), DAzed and Confused, Detroit Rock City. I must say I loved Lord of the rings. I did see The Rocket Boys and The Departed while flying back from New Zealand and enjoyed both.

Television:

Again not too much TV watching. I mostly watch some sports (if they are on my one channel)or if the Bengals or Mountaineers are playing on TV.

Books:

Anything that can tell a good story. I do read many books about history (mostly US) but like mysteries and such. Currenltly reading 30 days in Sydney by Peter Carey.

Heroes:

Definately my folks, grandparents, anyone that has helped me learn during my journey in this world.
