Dale Smithey, 36 was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois where his family owned and operated retail pet stores, which still are open for business today. Aside from working for his family throughout his childhood, he landed his first "payroll" job at the age of 15 working for a local pizzeria. He quickly discovered how he truly hated making pizzas for a living and worked hard to land his first retail job as a sales associate in a local music store. For about the next 12+ years he worked for numerous companies including County Seat, Sun Optics, Elder Beerman, Z-Gallerie, Ron Weber, Old Navy, Kohler, Kuhlman, and The Gap.He moved to Chicago in October of 1999. Shortly thereafter, he began selling movies, books, music, and software online. Discovering his love for making money via the Internet he launched his first web based business, MartJobs.com, an online job board in February of 2000. He went to college later in life but earned a degree in E-Commerce in 2004.In the spring of 2008 he launched DaleSmithey.com for his marketing efforts and BigCItyApartmentFinders.com to promote rental property marketing services.He currently resides within the Rogers Park neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois and is an active member of the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus. He will be relocating to Allen (Dallas), Texas in July of 2008.
