PROCESS is about deconstructing the art you see to show the amount of labor, ideas, sketches, thoughts, and directions a project has to go through to be completed. We are bombarded all the time with the completed glossy product of someone's hard (or not so hard) work and we rarely get to see the growth of that idea - and because of that, we are sometimes left in the dark as to what the intent of that piece was, what it means, or how important it was to the artist who created it.With PROCESS, we want to try to connect the dots by showing EVERYTHING along the way - flaws, fuck-ups and all. Part of the alienating nature to art (and design) is that we never get to see the humanity in the work, and we just assume that artist has raw talent that we can't understand; but by displaying the journey that our work had to go through, we hope that it demystifies that mystique and makes people feel included and inspired.
