I don't really watch anything on network television- I think it's mostly pointless. I LOATHE REALITY SHOWS!!!!!!! I like the Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, The History Channel, you get the idea. I love BBC America (What anglophile doesn't?) The Mystery Monday shows are great!! I also love Ab Fab, Monty Python, The Vicar of Dibley, Are You Being Served?, & Keeping Up Appearances. The British comedies are so much funnier. I also watch The Biography Channel alot- they still play all the Sherlock Holmes, Poirot, Miss Marple, & Murder She Wrote episodes. I've been watching Mystery! on PBS since the early 80's- Starting with Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime series and now watching the new Marple series with Geraldine McEwan- they're great fun!! I watch HBO, Cinemax, Starz and Showtime. And I still catch all the good old cartoons from time to time on Boomerang- like Hong Kong Phooey & Scooby Doo.
There is no possible way that I can list all the books I like- I'll stick to authors I like.
Of course, #1 on the list are the Harry Potter books by JK Rowling. Love them, Love them, Love them!!!! Helen Fielding- who gave the world Bridget Jones & Olivia Joules. Anything by Anne Perry, especially the Pitt and Monk series. Louise Rennison's Georgia Nicholson books for teens are hilarious- I love them more than my daughter does!! Agatha Christie, Clive Cussler, Anne Rice, Stephen King, Jane Austen, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Jude Deveraux, the list goes on and on!!
