Too many; I get easily consumed by new hobbies, yet I never delve deeply. Some of the longer-lasting activities: Cycling, woodworking, guitar, violin, rocketry, gardening, auto racing, kayaking, and script-writing. I'd love to try out playing drums, concrete sculpting, boat-building, and game programming. (Just to name a few)
Old friends & new friends :-)Why do people delete Tom (as a friend)? He seems friendly to me. And, he makes up 10% of my friends list.
Don't get me started- I LOVE music. Currently, I'm infatuated with Belle & Sebastian, Leslie Feist, The Flaming Lips, The Arcade Fire, King Crimson, Modest Mouse, The Police, and (my favorite) Ween.
I'm a harsh critic, but I DO have my soft-spots. I love "E.T.", "Breaking Away", "Patton", "Stranger than Fiction", "Sense and Sensibility" (that makes me a bit metro, I think?), "The Bourne Identity" (but I hated the sequel!), "Equilibrium", and "Eyes Wide Shut". That's not a definitive list, by an means; There's plenty of comedies that I enjoyed, but I just can't think of them.Perhaps more telling is the movies that I DIDN'T like; "Batman Returns", the new "Star Wars" movies, "Lord of the Rings 2&3" (amazing 'films' - humorously exaggerated drama and action, though)... I'll keep adding them as I think of 'em. I'm curmudgeonly, my wife tells me.
I have no clue where my television is...
Mostly textbooks and non-fiction, to support my 'hobby addiction'. I like science-fiction and (ironically) books about writing books.
Richard Feinman, Mother Theresa, among others.
