Ak si chces precitat profil po slovensky, napis mi spravu ;) About MeI was born on the18th of March 1981 in a small town of Svidnik located in the Eastern part of Slovakia near the Polish border. When I was 12 years old we moved to the Western part of Slovakia to the town of Trencin where I still feel at home with my parents. I had a peaceful childhood with my older sister and parents. When I was 22 years old I moved to Prague (the Czech Republic). Later I moved even further to Manchester in the UK where I have been working and DJ-ing since then. My hobbies are sports, especially road cycling which I was doing professionally (I’ve got a few champion titles); car hi-fi; sometimes I like to idle away the time; I like good food, and for sure music and DJ-ing. My favourite films are Kolja (the Czech film), Kevin & Perry Go Large, It’s All Gone Pete Tong, Samotari (the Czech film – a mere translation can be Loners?). I always keep smiling and have fun :-)About MusicI was close to music during my youth. I remember being about 6-7 years old when I had re-recorded all the cassettes of my father and mother. I damaged their beloved melodies with tracks I liked most – mainly hits of 80’s. While I was growing up I moved to the “so called†commercial radio stuff like 2Unlimited & Scooter (nothing I am proud of...). But even at that age I had a couple of trance tracks. I still find Energy 52 – Café Del Mar to be the best track ever. The first original cassette I was able to buy at that time was the one of DJ Dado and it was called The Dream Dance. From that time I have been listening to similar selection of CDs. I started drifting by the waves of trance. I was probably mostly (but not directly) influenced by my friend Martin (my best friend..s brother) who I borrowed cassettes from and I recorded mostly remixes of tracks which had been broadcasted on the radio. But the biggest change in my understanding of music happened after listening to a double CD of The Isle of MTV 2002. Then I changed my orientation to quality music. Later on I listened to another important album in my life - that was by Tiesto – Summerbreeze - and that album ensured me that trance was the right choice for me. Before that I used to listen to house, techno, pop, rock etc. I like many kinds of music. My favourite artistic bands are Depeche Mode, U2, and Jean Michael Jarre.About DJ-ingThe beauty of DJ-ing was shown to me by (at the moment one of my best friends) a DJ named Camaro who I had met by chance in one of Trencin..s Clubs . At that time I was about 21 years old. He started to teach me the secrets of DJ-ing while I had been playing some music next to him either at the very beginning of the evening or at late night. My first real performance took place in 2003 in the Shaka Club in Puchov (Slovakia). This club does not exist anymore. I did not get the same opportunity for DJ-ing during my stay in Prague. At the moment I am playing in clubs mostly in Manchester but sometimes I am travelling to Belfast or London. In January 2007 I got the opportunity to have my own show on the Slovak internet radio www.protonic.sk . I play every second and last Friday in the month, from 7pm-9pm [GMT +0] (in the continental Europe from 20:00 to 22:00[GMT +1] . My sessions mostly consist of trance music but I am not afraid to refresh them with house, electro or techno music. I like longer sets where I can fiddle with the soul and the plot of the set. I get ready for these sets in my show by using the gadget which has become my audio-electronic toys, i.e. 2xPioneer, 1000 MK3, mixer Pioneer CDM 600 and one deck Technics SL1210MK2. I have just started with my own production and remixes and that is why I hope that you will wait to see some good tracks soon. Tiesto is my favourite DJ and my idol. It is not just because of his music and production but mainly because of his work in the past, and of his behaviour, like things he managed to do or say. His global opinion on music is just great :-)
