At the age of six he developed his first musical group. He is a dynamic, multi-talented, singer and composer of music that inspires and touches the soul. He was born gifted with the talent to play both the piano and drums by ear. His style of music ranges from Pop, R&B, to Inspirational Music. His early childhood musical influence is attributed to being raised in a creative musical family environment. His family has always encouraged him to put God first and pursue his dreams. At the age of 14, he began to write, arrange and produce his own music recordings in his home studio. As a solo Artist he has recorded numerous songs like “My Angel†& “Heal The Worldâ€. In Aug 2002, Darius was given the privilege to sing for Mayor Michel Wilson witch was the Mayor of Freehold, New Jersey, at the “South African Global Aides Dayâ€, a day set aside to bring aids awareness to our society for the need of support, healing and love. In May2007, He also performed at the Statue of Liberty. In June 2007 he performed at the world famous “Apollo Theater†in Harlem, New York. Darius wants his music to have a special meaning to the individual person’s life. Darius quotes “Music is something people listen to mostly every day, so you want to send a message in your words, like reading a book, but listening, trying to make the listener feel like he or she is in the songâ€.Comment Me!
