We are a missionary organization that is affiliated with (YWAM) Youth with A Mission. Check out our website at www.ywamcimarron.org. YWAM Cimarron is located in the San Juan mountains of SW Colorado at an elevation of 8600 feet. Our basic purpose is to glorify our heavenly father by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations of the world and nearby communities. We offer a Discipleship Training School (DTS) that is divided into two phases. The school phase (app. 3 months) is designed to get you fired up for what is on God's heart! Missions! Also to seek and know GOD and make HIM known! Then you practice what you have trained for and go on a mission trip for about the same amount of time which is the outreach phase. We also offer an abbreviated version of DTS to high school and middle school students called an SST. They train and then go on a short mission trip to a nearby Native American Reservation. The SST lasts about 3 weeks. Hopefully, by the end of DTS or SST God will reveal to you missions is not a special calling, but what our lives should be about. As Christ followers we are to share with the world the Gospel whether that is in a foreign country or in your own community, job, etc.....
