hey, my name is marissa. i live with my two brothers and my dad. i am going to be a senior when i go back to school in august. i like to hang with my friends, play on the computer, swim, talk on the phone, watch tv, listen to music, make-out and have sex with my man, drive, and go shopping when i have money. at 5:00 A.M. june 3, i was in a horrible car crash. i fell asleep in a very foggy area by jackson park. i was driving my dad's chevy truck and my truck went across the left side of the road, with the front left side of the truck slamming into a utility pole which made my truck do a 180 and then stop. the dashboard came back four feet and landed on my lap. it broke my left femur bone clear in half and trapped me in the truck. as i hit the pole, my head hit the dashboard and left a three inch long gash through my left eyebrow which missed my eye my a 1/2 in. my left kidney was also bady wounded and my lungs where bruised. i also broke the three biggest toes on my left foot. i had to have surgery again on the 5th of july for my left big toe. he put a pin in my foot, which he was suppost to do the first time but he didn't, and now i am waiting for the doc to say i can walk on my own once more. one of the main reasons i am here to tell you this today i because i was not wearing my selt belt. i am not saying that wat i did was okay but i am just telling you that selt belts take away almost as many lives as they save. dont do wat i did.
