I am here for Friends

About Me

I love to dance to music that most people cannot hear :) Life is short, so fun should be had while it still can be had. I live life as if every breathe could be my last. I love my friends, but hate the distance that separates us. I wish that people would stop fighting so that loved ones could come home. I love animals, and the innocence that children show when they get to see and learn new things.

My Interests

Reading, going to the movies, being outdoors, playing in the snow, learning new things and then teaching others what I have learned, I love to laugh...I've heard it makes you live longer :) and I love to travel and see amazing places and meet people (big fan of road trips).

I'd like to meet:

People who share my interests as well as those who don't. I like hearing other people's opinions and beliefs.

Music:

I'll listen to just about anything: classical to country to alternative and hard rock. Favorite music of the moment: The Newsboys and Casting Crowns are the bands I listen to the most.

Movies:

One of my all-time favorite movies is The Princess Bride. I also find myself watching, several times, the LOTR trilogy, HP series (though I like the books better), POTC trilogy, The Chronicles of Narnia, and any movie that has a happy ending (I'm a sucker for a happy ending :)

Television:

"Pushing Daisies". It's cute!!! I also watch Lost, Samantha Who? and Supernatural (all online, b/c i don't have cable:)

Books:

Just picked up The Chronicles of Narnia series after I heard that they're making Prince Caspian a movie :)Taking a couple classes to get ready for grad school, so reading a lot of developmental psychology :-p Yay for becoming a teacher!

Heroes:

My grandmother: she was so strong for so many years fighting a disease that ultimately took her life. But she always made the best of the time she had, and courageously fought her battle with very few complaints. My mother is on my heroes list. I've only just come to realize how insanely amazing she is and all that she does for my family and for the community. My grandpa spent the last 5 years raising over $175,000 for Children's Miracle Network in honor of my brother. He's most definitely my hero.
