About Me

What can i say? Im a huge Batman fan, have been since i was 5 years old. Its really my only interest aside from family and friends. I started collecting the comic books at an early age and it moved to toys and later to memorabilia, art and so on. My collection has been moved into the basement. Due to space issues, Im no longer able to display my entire collection, so I have only the things that I enjoy the most out on display while the rest is in storage. The 1989 movie really changed me as far as a collector, it solidified me as a bonified Batman fanatic. I have moved into the world of costuming which is bringing me closer to a dream ive had since i was just a kid, to have a kick ass Batman suit. Thru collecting the bat i have gained some good friends, learned alot about myself, and made some great memories. Who knows what the future will bring.MY FAMILY: Im kinda guarded when it comes to my family. I've been married for 12 years and have 3 kids ( a son and twin girls). I have one brother who is a Spider-Man fan as much as I am a Batfan. Other than these details, everything else is kept in the classified file. ;)MY WORK: I have been at the same job for going on 17 years now. I work at a regional grocery chain where I have moved up to a department manager. Its not what what I wanted to do, but things happen, openings present themselves and the next thing you know no other job can match the pay or benefits. My Interests

Batman comics, toys, art, memorabilia, and costumes. The costume thing started back in 1989 after I seen Batman. That Halloween my Mom bought that McCalls costume pattern and made me the cape and cowl. I used a black shirt and tights for the suit and made the emblem, belt, and guantlets out of poster board. I swore that one day I would have a movie suit. Thru the friends i have made on the BOTB I have come to put together 3 movie suits. The 89 Keaton suit, the most recent Begins suit, and I have recently finished a Returns suit.

I grew up in the 80's, i love hair metal. I still listen to the stuff to this day. Among some of my favorite bands are: Dokken, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Rush, Ozzy and Black Sabbath, Bad Company, Metallica (the early stuff. they suck now), Dream Theatre, Ratt, Slaughter, Winger (yes, Winger), Skid Row, Testament, Joe Satriani, Yngvie Malmsteen, Warrant, Roxette, Prince, Godsmack, Zombie, and Dokken. Yes, i know i already said them, but they kick major ass!

HEROES!! NBC. MONDAY NIGHTS. MUST SEE TV, THE BEST NEW SHOW THIS SEASON.My son and i watch Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi. I've given up on the WWE. It totally sucks now. Vince needs to seriously reanalyze what he's doing.TNA!!!! The new WCW, look out Vince. It also has my all time favorite wrestler!

Besides the Batman Animated Series from the 90's, Darkwing Duck has to be my next favorite kick ass cartoon. Lets get dangerous!!

Books:

Read some comic books. C'mon, they're fun. Also, read the Tolkien books, screw the movies, use your imagination.
