About Me

For all those who wonder what I do, and why I dance...The dancer artist is special. Intrinsically aware of the complexities of both mind and body. Tenderly concerned with the weight of the world. Emotional. Painfully aware of life yet a spokesperson for why it is worth living. Responsible for communication beyond words. Adjusted and often in sync with ambivalence. Flexible, improvisational, able to make something out of nothing, and nothing out of everything. And for this reason, the dancer artist is a magician. The dancer artist serves their heart on a platter, willing be scrutinized for the sake of art. Knows the secrets of art are plentiful, and bathes in its mystery. Patient when there are no answers because mystery is arts greatest gift. Required to showcase fleeting messages with a vengeance in a world that assumes they need permanence. The dancer artist does not take themselves seriously… but seriously considers their art. The dancer artist is special.Lots of Love,Erin
