LittleWhiteHouse is a Contemporary Dance Theatre Company based in Dundee, Scotland.The company's work explores human emotion, instinct, relationships and identity,taking form in a distinct, beautiful, emotionally stimulating piece of dance theatre.LittleWhiteHouse consists of Director Jack Webb and several diverse and exciting dancers and performers from various backgrounds inlcuding Rebecca Celine, Skye Reynolds, Olivia Vella, Anna Gander, Lucy Boyes and Jennifer Farmer.
LittleWhiteHouse has created three works to date, those being 'When I Am Laid In Earth','Asleep On Cascade Street'and ' The Colour of Memory '.All pieces so far have explored the work of Jack Webb.LittleWhiteHouse is interested in creating work in alternative spaces as well as in the traditional theatre setting. ' Asleep On Cascade Street' was created specifically for The Maggie's Centre using the surroundings and architecture of the building. ' The Colour Of Memory ', a solo work for Artistic Director and Dancer Jack Webb, takes inspiration from the books Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf and The Hours by Micheal Cunningham and combines aspects of a personal relationship. Our new work is a solo exploration of memories, nostalgia, loss, suicide, and intertwines the thoughts and experiences of one man in the space of one day. Set in a dark landscape, flowers grow and a television speaks, speaks of memory..........the colour of memory.The Colour of Memory, LittleWhiteHouse's new work, is a solo choreographed and danced by LWH Director Jack Webb.The Colour of Memory is supported byThis piece has a had a sucessful run of performances, having been performed at Gallery Flat01, Glasgow, the Space, Dundee, TotalKunst Gallery, Edinburgh, Bristo Hall at the Forest Cafe and was invited to be performed as part of the Pro Heads Up! programme during the Edinburgh Fringe Festvial at Dance Base, Edinburgh and finishing off with a performance a the Caird Hall in Dundee as part of the Ultimate Chill Arts Festival.
