Hmmm... the cure, the pixies, the stone roses, pulp, radiohead, dusty springfield, bjork, prince, flaming lips, de la soul, stevie wonder, interpol, fat freddy's drop, quarter acre lifestyle, kora, iggy pop, new order, peaches, kings of leon, elliot smith, sigur ros, mercury rev, pj harvey, massive attack, shapeshifter, the strokes, the yeah yeah yeahs, the tutts, the breeders, curtis mayfield, postal service, fly my pretties, trinity roots, jose gonzalez, bloc party, cold war kids, tv on the radio, feist.... aaah so many.
i love films with amazing music, films where you learn something, films where your face gets sore from laughing, and films where you really want to remember the quotes. a few of these include: anything by pedro almodovar, christopher guest, wes anderson or the cohen brothers, woody allen but only in the 70s and 80s... plus - trainspotting, charlie and the chocolate factory (original), casablanca, amelie, the breakfast club, gadjo dillo, pulp fiction, a clockwork orange, layer cake, sling blade, everything is illuminated, the spanish apartment, donnie darko, shaun of the dead, dirty pretty things, fight club, the station agent, kill bill, dazed and confused, office space, goodfellas, the usual suspects, kiss kiss bang bang, hotel rwanda, babel, casino royale, nacho libre, the corporation, junebug...
I watch more than the average person - but only because I get to watch them on work time (everyone should have a telly at their desk).... the sopranos, spaced, outrageous fortune, the office, wayne anderson: singer of songs, weeds, studio 60 on sunset strip, 6 degrees, pulp sport, the cosby show, MASH, the long way round, top town, seinfeld, sex and the city, havoc and newsboy's sellout tour, blackadder, six feet under.
to kill a mockingbird, the god of small things, the time traveller's wife, cat's eye, no logo, the BFG, extremely loud and incredibly close, high fidelity... books are harder to remember off the top of your head than those other categories. I'm quite well read though, ok?
