Wade Howland - DB Magazine - June 2005

"...perfect voice...wicked humour...cunning way with language and rhyme...Perfect is shrewd, irreverent and a consummate performer."

Kate Herbert - Herald Sun - September 2005

"...smooth vocals...sharp...Perfect oozes bad boy charm...Drink Pepsi Bitch! is bitingly entertaining...."

Thuy On - The Australian - September 2005

"...this angry Australian's sense of humour is so caustic it could strip paint off railings, his material makes you wince almost as often as it makes you laugh. Perfect's singing voice is a thing of raw beauty...his lyrics are shrapnel-sharp...deeply impressive..."

Roger Cox - The Scotsman - August 2005 - Edinburgh Festival

Band Members: "Shane Warne The Musical": :"Shane Warne The Musical" is a leg-spun yarn about what it means to fall arse-backwards into the Australian Dream and emerge a champion. In a country that routinely lops its tall poppies, this show sets out to both celebrate and understand the life of cricket's most adored and maligned hero as he battles fame, failure, fidelity and the ferocious Australian media.

Written and performed by Eddie Perfect. Directed by one of Australia's most acclaimed theatre, opera and film directors, Neil Armfield (Keating!, Candy), Dramaturge Casey Bennetto, (the creator of Keating! ) and a design team including Tony Award winner Brian Thomson (Priscilla, Keating! Boy From Oz - Arena) and Chunky Move artistic director Gideon Obarzanek as choreographer.

A sizzling live band and an exceptional cast, including Eddie as the man himself, bring to life a brilliant score which fuses soul, gospel, rock, power ballads, R&B, opera and even a touch of Bollywood.:Shane Warne The Musical TVC
