Shopping, reading, shopping, music, shopping, spending quality time with friends, family and boyfriend, shopping, cooking, shopping...did I mention my obsession with shopping??! Suppose work too - but in a fun way (pre-hospital life support) boring to non-medics though!
Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Emily Bronte, Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale, Enid Blyton! Oh and Daniel Craig, yummmmmmmm!!!
Will pretty much listen to absolutely anything - but on the whole prefer playing to listening! But a friend of mine has got me in to listening to more soul music recently.
All the classics: Hepburn movies, Monroe - particulary Some like it Hot, Gone with Wind, good Chick Flicks and Romantic Comedies! Recently saw The Departed which I thought was excellent!
Don't watch much apart from having an unhealthy obsession with Neighbours and Diagnosis Murder left over from my student days!
Where to start??!!! Love all novels! Particulary Dickens, Bronte sisters, Jane Austen, Mrs Gaskell, Hardy, Classic French and Russian literature (particularly the dark and scarey Dostosvsky!), Margaret Atwood, Ben Okri, Ian McEwan, Sebastian Faulks, was just given the recent booker prize winner "The Inheritance of Loss" by Kiran Desai which was a really good read! All the books of my childhood, Enid Blyton, Gobbolino the Witches Cat, Little Women...could go on for ever!
Women who made a difference - particularly Emilline Pankhurst, Elizabeth Fry, Florence Nightingale and Elizabeth Garrett Anderson
