“Fame” started off as a battle rapper in 2003, challenging classmates and friends to freestyle battles in front of crowds of people, even taking challenges from anyone else who battled. He then started taking music more seriously and began writing more in 2004. He saw it as a gateway to express himself through catchy hooks, metaphores and dead on punchlines. 90 percent of the time he would write a hook and verse after verse using no beat at all. In May 2004 He received an instrumental from a local producer by the name of name “Ceasar”, which he took home and molded into the first song he ever recorded “Be Cool Wit It” alongside up and coming rapper “Troublesome”. With great rap potential and a shortage of quality original beats, he began merging over towards the beatmaking side of music. In mid 2004 with a EMU PX7, a gift he had received from his older sister in late 2003, he began conducting several beats a week. With no knowledge of how to extract the beats from his machine he continued focusing on rapping and song composition. In july, 2005 he revieved his first personal computer,which was an iMac G5 he also purchased with the help of his older sister. By October of the same year he could see his studio and his dreams coming to life and his vision obtaining more clarity, which led him even more toward production. By November he had saved up enough money from working a job in construction to buy Pro Tools 6.7, a SHURE condensor microphone and a mic stand. Throughout the later months he upgraded even more with professional Sony studio headphones, 2 Alesis studio moniters and a pop filter for his microphone. With this same equipment he Executive produced “The Premiere” a mixtape showcasing his songwriting ability, beat composition, recording and mixing skills. Alongside fellow arist and friend Tramayne “T-Man” Hudson, Fame has produced songs such as “Check Out My Hat”,”From Way Over Here”,”hell Nah”, “In The Facility”, “Chillin In The Whip”, and “Get Low”. “The Premiere” is now available, and “Fame” is currently working on his 3rd Mixtape, which is currently untitled at the moment .He is also working with up and coming artist such as T-Man, Turk aka. Freeza, Young Sunna, Young Pramyre, and Rellik. He is also collaborating and working alongside up and coming producers like Ceasar, Twin Beats, Too Trill, Beat Burnaz, Essential and 88 crew...
