About Me

What do you want to know? I am 25, I lived in Illinois for 24 years, Kansas City, Missouri for less than one, and now I live in sunny California. I've played live music since I was 14, and although I'd always really wanted to persue it as a career, having gone on tour a year ago was what really proved to me that it was my calling. Um, I'm a capricorn, but I don't follow astrology, I try really hard to be a friendly, even-tempered and mild-mannered individual unless provoked, and although I don't exert too much effort in getting myself out of my box to actually do stuff, I do believe in a hard work ethos being the path to success. Despite me persuing the rockstar dream, I am one semester away from having a degree in music. I think that organized religion is a travesty, but I do think it is important for individuals to follow beliefs that they determine are best suited for them. I, myself am a very lapsed catholic, to the point where now I believe in God and that's pretty much exactly where my spirituality ceases. I believe that capitalism, although inherently flawed, is the best societal idealogy to adhere to. I believe vegetarians to be traitors, and I will eat them once I kill all the fucking cows. I also believe in being open-minded and I thoroughly believe that one's beliefs can change if presented with the perfect argument for the opposing side. I believe that Henry Rollins is the way, the truth, and the light. And blue is my favorite color.

My Interests

Pool

I'd like to meet:

A nice girl who can love me and whom I can love just as much if not more. And please hear me out, I'm not a bar-goer by nature, so I'd prefer it if you weren't. I much prefer intelligent, personality, and a bit of attitude over liking amaretto stone sours and cosmopolitans.Bands that actually have music on their pages.Rockers without egos.Scene kids who don't write lame poetry and who are actually happy with their life.Goths that don't hate the world.Stoners that can retain a job AND be regarded as a reliable employee.Basically people who don't perpetuate stereotypes...so that I don't have to make light of them and offend people.Vegetarians who sneak away in the middle of the night and eat beef and chicken and fish and pork and who stare into the night-time sky and shout "FUCK ANIMALS!!! THEY TASTE TOO FUCKING GOOD!!!"Republicans that are open-minded.Democrats that are true to their convictions and don't straddle the issues.Ann Coulter so I can punch her in the baby-maker.Bill O'reilly for the same reason.Al Franken for the same reason.Generally I'd just like to punch anyone in the junk that when you ask them "where do you stand politically?" they say anything other than "I vote for the person who I think is best suited for the job, regardless of beliefs and party."An ex-girlfriend here and there to provide a refill of motivation to succeed. And a partridge in a pear-tree...

Sin City
A Bridge Too Far
Das Boot
Pornstar - the Legend of Ron Jeremy
Apocalypse Now
The Lost
Pulp Fiction
...And Now For Something Completely Different
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Tank Girl
Evil Dead trilogy
Kill Bill 1 and 2
Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail
The Bourne trilogy
The Man with no name trilogy ("The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly," etc.)
and basically almost any stand-up comedy DVD EXCEPT for any Jerry Seinfeld crap or any of that stupid redneck comedy bullshit...I don't know why you idiots think they're funny.

Television:

Burn Notice, Deadliest Catch, CSI, House M.D., Band of Brothers, Family Guy, any shows that focus on actual Police videos/Dash cams (Disorderly Conduct, The World's Scariest Police Videos, etc.) and oddly enough I think I've developed a guilty pleasure for Star Trek: The Next Generation and a fixation on Jeri Ryan's character Seven of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager.

..

Books:

and many many MANY comic books (Hellblazer, Punisher, Green Arrow, Daredevil, Preacher, and pretty much anything that Alan Moore, Garth Ennis, Chuck Dixon, Kevin "Silent Bob" Smith, Mike Carey, Brian Azzarello, Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee, Mark Silvestri, and Joe Quesada have a hand in...)

Heroes:

Anyone that puts more than the average amount of thought into their day.....
