Our Kids!! Lisa's boys, A.J.(16) & Jared(12) & Pat's son, Jacob(9) A.J. is a sophmore now, and is part of the Red Devil Marching Band playing the instruments, Tenor Sax & Bass Clarinet. The Marching Band made it to Regionals again this year! They did a great job all season!!!! A.J.'s Clarinet ensemble & Saxtet group received GOLD at both district & STATE!!! Videos of their performances are in our Blog section....The band was also given the state's 'All-Music Award', for their 2007 year, which is a very coveted feat! He was given the "Most Improved Freshman Musician" award by his peers during awards in 2007, and already received his Letter, as a freshman! *UPDATE...ALL-MUSIC AWARD RECIPENTS AGAIN!!! 2008!!! Jared is now in the 7th grade at the Middle School. He plays the trombone in the Middle School Band & the Jazz Band. He is quickly learning how to play the electrc guitar, as well! He will be marching this season as an 8th grader with the High School band. He strts his baseball season this week, and looks forward to a possible winning season, this year!! Jacob is in third grade and enjoys his soccer seasons! He is back to playing little league and having a great time! His musical instrument of choice right now, is the guitar. And he is a big video game nut, just like the other 2!

BRING ON SUMMERFEST 2008!!!! We are big fans of music in general! Our favorite pastime right now, is to track those 70's/80's 'guilty pleasure' bands, and see them in concert! Our fave to go see each year has become REO Speedwagon...make fun, if you so choose, but they put on a great show! The last few years we ventured to Milwalkee's Summerfest and had a blast! We have been able to catch many fun bands, usually from no worse than the 3rd row! Some we have been able to enjoy have been : REO, BoDeans, Blue Oyster Cult,Common, Lynryd Skynrd, Everclear(they put on a kick-ass concert, by the way), All-American Rejects, Blue October, Cowboy Mouth, and Hank Jr., George Thorogood, Lindsey Buckingham, Violent Femmes, Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Puddle of Mudd (Pat totally enjoyed hearing his fave song by them LIVE..'She Hates me'...his song that he says sums up his former marriage!lol), Sum 41, Ben E King, Sara Evans, and others.... Def Leppard & Journey rocked at Tweeter Center, as did the Dolls & Crows! (Even though it poured for both concerts!!!)Front & center for Pat Benatar & Cheap Trick! That was a great time!! Check out the pictures!! Music is something we definetly enjoy together, as well as the beer & dancin that goes along with it!We were able to Styx/Foreigner/Def Leppard in Milwaukee. This time, the 2 oldest saw the concert the day after us, in Illinois with their father. They have developed a fixation for the bands, and had a great time! I t was alot of fun comparing stories from the concerts with them!
Lisa's a HUGE movie/Celebrity Buff. There isn't much she hasn't seen or many celebrities she can't name. Pat enjoys them when he can sit still long enough to watch one all the way through!! Our Hollywood trip, made the celebrity spotting interesting!! lol Lisa's favorite movies... When a Man Loves a Woman... Forrest Gump...What's Love Got To Do With It...Elf...The Notebook...The Godfather Trilogy...I Am Sam...Dirty Dancing...Beaches...Breakfast Club...Say Anything...Young Guns...Walk The Line...St. Elmos Fire...Grease...Sixteen Candles...to name a few... Pat is a fan of action and slapstick comedy movies, when he watches them! His top 3 movies... Christmas Vacation, Big Daddy & Mr.& Mrs. Smith... Lisa is working on expanding his list!
