*****i will not add anyone that i do not know and who does not send me a message letting me know who you are and why i should add you. this especially goes for people with private profiles. why the hell will i add you if i dont know you and can't view your profile? i am not a "friend collector" so i am very very very selective about who i add and why.****
I listen to a wide variety of music... punk, ska, techno, rap, anything that I feel like listening to really. I love a wide variety of bands... so many that I can't even begin to really list them, but I will try... The Ataris, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, No Use for a Name, Anti-Flag, Less Than Jake, Dance Hall Crashers, Thursday, Bad Religion, No Doubt, Veruca Salt, Lords of Acid, At the Drive In, Backstreet Boys (yes, you read right), Sparta... the list can go on and on.
I like weird, independent movies mostly... Goodbye Lenin, Run Lola Run, Requiem for a Dream, Rules of Attraction, The Shining, Secretary, Spirited Away, 28 Days Later, A Clockwork Orange, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Narnia, the Star Trek movies, weird silent German films like Dr. Caligari... and The Fast and the Furious purely for its endless quotes and entertainment value.
Star Trek, The OC, Nip Tuck, Law and Order SVU, Lost, ER, Myth Busters, What Not to Wear, South Park, House of Carters, Drawn Together, lots of random reality shows just because there's nothing else to watch. I also like random programs on the History Channel and Discovery Channel.
I like reading books about infectious diseases (!). What can I say? I'm a nerd (and big fan of reading)! So I buy and read textbooks about microbiology. And also books like "Biohazard" by Ken Alibek, "The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston, and "The Coming Plague" by Laurie Garrett. I also love "1984" by George Orwell. It's creepy, but fascinating. I also love "the Grapes of Wrath," by Steinbeck. And whatever strikes my fancy at the moment. Let's just leave it at the fact that I read a lot.
Hello Kitty and Captain Picard.
