I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

When I'm not a romantic idealist I'm a deadpan cynic, a skeptic with a big heart. In friends, I definitely go for quality over quantity. The same holds true in dating (can't say the same for my early 20s, but old age has certainly tempered me). I'm currently in academic limbo hoping to "see the light" soon and continue on with grad school. In general I work with adults with developmental disabilities, and in particular, with 7 amazing human beings; I've learned so much through teaching them.I've spent hours reading the dictionary while originally seeking one word, I sometimes have to start reciting parts of my ABCs to remember the exact placement of a letter in the alphabet, I'm addicted to sunflower seeds and "Sex and the City," I'm morbidly fascinated by serial killers and the criminal mind, I think that Dr. Suess was a literary genius, I love the act of sleeping even though I'm not concsious while doing it, I don't always need TV or music to fill the void when I'm alone, and think that sex isn't always overrated.
