Just about everything that I do in my life now, I do for my kids, and for their future, so that they may have a blessed and wonderful life - so that I can give them all of the tools they need, now as children, in order that they be functioning and self-sufficient adults. ____________________________________________________________ __I L-O-V-E: BEING PREGNANT - I've never quite felt as sexy as I did pregnant, and I doubt I'll ever feel that sexy again without a baby in my belly... BABIES - they smell so good, look so cute, and Don't talk back!!... NURSING - unless you've done it, I can't explain it; there's just something so good and so pure about the bond between mother and child... THE WAY THAT JESSIAH NURTURES DeKOTAH - He is naturally and sincerely the BEST big brother ever! They will, no doubt, have a bond and friendship that will last thru thick and thin!... FRIENDS - real ones are far and few between, and when you find one, should be held on to for dear life, and never let go! (David and Bernard - you will ALWAYS live in my heart!!!; V and Barbara - I'll never let you go!!!)... THE GYM - something about a sweaty workout, sore muscles and fitting into my favorite jeans just right, that makes me feel so good inside... A GOOD RUN, I mean a REAL GOOD RUN - I haven't been on one since I was about 4 months pregnant with DeKotah, but there's nothing like putting one foot in front of the other on a pavement pounding, sweat dripping, calve-tightening, blood flowing and heart pounding run!(V, I miss running with you!!!)... HOT SHOWERS - hot water beating on the back of my neck for a few minutes, while I escape the needs of my children, and find some solitude for myself... MASSAGES - I used to get one every other week, when I worked at Swope; Dale had Kari come in and give us massages from working us so hard - Kari, how I miss them so!... READING - although I don't read novels and such, as intently and as often as I used to, there's something so warm and fuzzy about curling up with a good book... CUDDELING - big, strong, warm arms wrapped around me-ahhhhh... BLOCKBUSTER NIGHTS - since I never get out at night anymore, it's the best way to see the latest flics... COMEDIES - who can't use a good laugh?... SUSPENSE - I love the edge of my seat... SALMON - one of Earth's greatest "super foods!" ... GRAPEFRUIT JUICE - although sour, it's still so juicy!... MILK CHOCOLATE - need I say more?... H20 - Can't live without it... HOT TEA (especially when you have a cold) - so, so soothing... SMOOTH JAZZ and NPR - how I know I'm turning into my mother!... SADE - I grew up listening to her at my dad's house, and now can't quite relax the same without her... TRAVELING - there's NO education, quite like the one you get when immersing yourself in something different and new...
