It's not about only Me, neither is it about only You; rather, it's about Us. It is about the human race needing to unite in order to make this world a better place. What has become of us? We have become materialistic, superficial, self-centered, individualistic, and the list goes on and on. No longer do we work together in our communities, or place our family and our religion first. We have lost the values that should have been our priorities in order to have kept this world a happier and safer place. Most people today seem to be oblivious to what's going on in the rest of world, or is it just that they couldn't be bothered? Well, we should start caring. What are we doing to prevent global warming? What are we doing to save the thousands of babies that are dying daily in Africa because of starvation and HIV infection? the millions of women that are rape victims? the thousands of natural disaster victims that are still homeless and jobless? These are only a few of the things I think we should be concerned about and try to be involved with, however small the contribution.
