All genre of quality house, jazz, jungle, any good dance music from Germany/Italy (bpm 125 - 133), old Florida breaks (est. 1992 - 1994) classical, blues, old metal (don't ask), classic rock (i.e. zep, stones) really anything isn't in the mainstream brainwash play list I like. Pop, current rap artists and current country artists are painful to listen too.
I'm not a big movie-goer. I like foreign and independent films with funky cinematography (requiem for a dream, trainspotting, run lola run) martial arts films are cool too.
I avoid it at all costs. If I do watch, it's Nature, Discovery, National Geographic or NASA.
Again books are not my thing. The few books I have read are "Learning the Tarot", "The Celestine Prophecy", "The Tibetan Book of the Dead", "Mindfulness in the Marketplace", "Meditation for Dummies", "Teach Yourself Feng Shui" "The 2005 Urban Almanac" you know...useful stuff.
