About Me

Hey folksesses, I am a born and raised Mississippi boy who married a Mississippi girl, Kelli,who now has a lil Mississippi girl, my daughter Jani Grace and a Georgia-born daughter, Juli Faith. I've just finished a Master of Divinity where I had the privilege of studying Hebrew, Greek, Theology, Apologetics, World Religions, and so forth. I love anything outdoors: hunting, fishing, disk golf, basketball, baseball, tennis, etc. I also love guitar and have played avidly for about 12 years now. The greatest love I have or the greatest love I wish to have, though, is for the Lord Jesus. I met Jesus when I was 14 and my life totally changed. I'm not perfect nor will I ever be here on earth, but that's the point, I don't have to be. He has accepted me just as I am and has completely changed me and remade me. I can't explain it. I'm just an ordinary guy with ordinary dreams and ordinary problems but I now know an extraordinay God who loved me enough to send His Son Jesus to die in my place to pay the penalty that my sin so much deserved. I don't mind talking about it because my life has truly changed. Being a Christian isn't about rules or regulations or even religion, it's simply about knowing Jesus and having a relationship with Him. I hate religion and I hate rules, but I've been freed from that and now I love living, living freely, living with purpose, living with passion, and living an adventure.
