NOT JUST A BANDChuck can provide AUDIO SERVICES such as...1) Editing (from music to voice over to seminars to sermons....anything audio!) 2) Mastering 3) Mixing 4) Sound fx creation and editing 5) Guitar lessons? Sure!!Just shoot me an email to discuss any of this stuff! As far as the band goes.... Lots of incarnations. Lots of songs. Lots of different people in USA and Canada. Lots of friends. Lots of ideas. Many reasons to make songs. Many reasons to listen to songs. Many influences. Guitar is good. The National Geoffrey likes guitar...and Drums...and bass...and lots of other things. With the creation of Rex Fargo, some kind of electronic music is in here too. So how do we describe the "genre"? Unknown. All one can say is The National Geoffrey likes music. It is mostly homespun, and The National Geoffrey likes it that way. Other people like it too. Maybe you will like it someday. It is not The National Geoffrey's place to say one way or the other. If you like it, tell us. If you don't like it, tell us. We will just keep doing it until we die either way. Why? Because The National Geoffrey likes music...and so on and so forth...

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: cdbaby.com/polasky
Band Members: Chuck Polasky and various members from My Little Friend, JiLLHAMMER, Random Noise, Tetanus Club, Burnt Trashed & Stranded, Unrepentant Kitten. Oh yes. Let us not forget Rex Fargo, Composer and "DJ." Others too. These things will be made known in due time...
Influences: Many, many bands & artists including (but not limited to) Chris Whitley, Grant Lee Buffalo, Jeff Buckley, Bruce Cockburn, and many harder edged bands...how can we mention them all? The truth is, we don't really know what influences us most of the time. Most likely, it is quantum electrodynamics that influences us the most. It's just a thought.
Sounds Like: Impossible for the writer to say. Perhaps you can help. Some say it sounds the way it might feel when rolling naked in a patch of stinging nettle. Still others say it sounds the way it might feel to swim naked in a vat of warm maple syrup. We don't really try to define it in such terms. We would, however, value your comments.
