About Me

Weird normal anti-social friendly quiet loquatious relaxed hyperactive perverted straight long haired individualistic geeky artistic ... I think I've run out of adjectives that don't start sounding like I'm trying to hard. I'm a set of convoluted opposites mixed in with lots and lots of random quotes, very few of which are from pop culture (thank goodness) and most of which are inane, rude, callous, and distinctly non-PC. Add to that a mix of musical tastes currently focused between grindy noise and techno bounce with some folk and Tom Lehrer thrown in... yeah, you start to get the picture.

My Interests

Um, yes. I have interests. There are lots and lots of them. I rarely find time for any of them. I'm trying to fix this particular trend and can always use invitations to go do stuff. Stuff includes: rollerblading (still beginner), pool, bowling, movies, good food, live music, quiet social things.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people who don't need to be the constant focus of my attention but who will thoroughly enjoy it when they are and maybe miss it a little when they aren't.Check out my okcupid with the same name for a better idea of what I want for relationships right now. Friends are always good though, and don't need to go read all that if they don't feel like it :)

Music:

Floater, The Fair Sex, Switchblade Symphany, Kingston Trio, Tom Lehrer, Bloodhound Gang, Aqua (one song), Stevie Ray Vaugn, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, goapsy/trance (to work to), hoobastank, kmfdm, slick idiot, ministry, and many many more

Movies:

La Femme Nikita, Schizopolis, Galaxy Quest, Memento, Tokyo Decadence

Television:

Law & Order (any of them), Food TV (except for Emeril), COPS (It's a bad affliction, but I enjoy it)

Books:

Mostly Sci-Fi with the random other thing thrown in, hard science or fiction or literature. Currently reading: The First Five Henry Rollins, a book on the state of the science of atronomy / astrophysics, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain

Heroes:

Am I odd that I can't think of anyone that I look at as a hero? There are many fabulous people who have done amazing things out there but I know we're all just human so it's hard to idolize anyone. I try to be the best me that I can be, and let it go at that.
