London to New York, via Siberia....
Read the latest blog update about the motorcycle trip I have planned for 2011. 2 guys, 2 bikes, 20000 miles.
Firstly, I'm not on here to sell my music, I write, perform, & record everything myself, so it costs very little really.. I'm just here to share my passion.
Now, a little about me....
11 July 2009... time for a profile update, and a look at who I am through my eyes.
I was born in England and moved to South Africa in 1974, where I lived until returning to England in 1995.
I'm a musician, although for the last two years I haven't done anything new other than pen down random ideas for use at a later time. I like being behind a camera lens, but like with the music, have taken a few years break from shooting, but with the return of an old faithfull friend, I'll soon be out in the field taking some more pictures.
I also got involved in Nick Park style animation a couple of years back, and that's another little something that I'll be bringing back into my life shortly, as I discover the "New / Real" me.
Where am I at this point?
I have a small workshop where I build custom motorcycles, I'm a part time motorcycle instructor, and like exploring and adventure on 2 wheels. This I guess, is an extension from the times where I backpacked around Africa earlier on in my life.
I live alone out in the Suffolk countryside, I pretty much keep to myself.. a hermit? no, I don't think so, I'm just selective with my choice of friends, I like to know that the close few I do have, are with me for the long haul.
I've done a lot with my short time on earth so far, and have short shrift for fools and fake people. At the moment, I'm pretty much disillusioned with people in general, everybody seems to be in this race for what they can get, where as I tend to think about how I can give something back.
Subsequently, this ends with you having a smaller Christmas card list than most, but like I said earlier, at least the cards you do get are special ones :)
I appologise if this makes me sound stuck up, or aloof, it's not the case, I really do love people, and tend to see the good, before the bad. I just believe that life is too short to not live it to the full..
Live it to the full, explore new places, make someone smile, be thoughtfull, truthfull and reliable, and you will have a richer life....
I look forward to meeting you, whoever you are.
