As a Hip Hop Music company, originating in Omaha, NE, Black Royal Music Group is dedicated to promoting what is termed as "Field Hop," a title used to best describe the raw nature of Midwest Hip Hop and its artists.
Black Royal Music boasts a rouster consisting of two of Omaha's (and the Midwests) most prolific lyricists....Jay Money and Lex Lootha! Both well known emcees throughout the region, they are leading the charge to take Field Hop to the forefront of coporate music (and everywhere else!). They have both appeared on several independant releases and are now each on the verge of releasing solo projects. Lex Lootha is currently in the studio working on his debut EP "Prelude To An End," set for release later this year, and Jay Money is putting the finishing touches on his debut solo LP "Da Main Event:Round O.NE."
Currently, Lex Lootha can be heard on "Gorilla Balls:Tha Mixtape vol 1," a mix cd, hosted by Jay Money, released at the end of 2006, which has taken several regions by storm. Jay Money just released his mix cd contribution "Meet The Dealer:Da James Cash Mixtape," which is receiving rave reviews throughout the Midwest.
